The World Heart Federation looks forward to welcoming you to Melbourne, Australia for the World Congress of Cardiology 2014 (WCC 2014) taking place from 4-7 May 2014 at Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre.

Organized by the World Heart Federation and co-hosted by the Cardiac Society of Australia and New Zealand and the Heart Foundation of Australia, WCC is THE global platform for people to discuss how to tackle cardiovascular disease (CVD), the world’s number one killer. It will bring together representatives from cardiology and other healthcare professions, as well as, medical societies and heart foundations, commercial and non-government entities.

The World Congress of Cardiology is a major international conference that addresses and tackles the importance of cardiovascular health and disease on a global scale by attracting a strong and renowned international faculty of experts. Working alongside our national members, it also focuses on the cardiovascular disease problems of the region, in which it is hosted, which for 2014 will be the Australian continent and sub-regions of Asia.”

Dr. Yong Huo (China), Dr. Richmond Jeremy (Australia), Dr. Jonathan Kalman (Australia) and Dr. Dorairaj Prabhakaran (India) will be leading the WCC 2014 Scientific Programme Committee (SPC). The following scientific topics will be developed by world-renowned speakers:
