The 9th Congress of the European Society of Gynecology will take place between 8 and 11 September 2011 at Tivoli Congress Center from Copenhagen, Denmark.
The European Society of Gynecology/Société Européenne de Gynécologie was established in 1992 by Professor Albert Netter and Doctor Alice Lambert-Netter. Today in 2010, under the presidency of Doctor Clara Pélissier-Langbort, it seems to have entirely achieved the goals of the founders: To encourage and develop links between European gynecologists, to share experiences of medical and scientific members, to develop teaching and testing in Europe in all fields of Gynecology and to study the ethical and social implications of the various branches of Gynecology.
Copenhagen is proud to host the next ESG/SEC Congress in 2011. The experience and success established during the previous meetings, most recently in Rome 2009, will be blended with a special touch of Nordic identity, skills and ambitions in the planning and settings.
The local Organizing Committee and the Scientific Advisory Boards guarantee that the 2011 ESG/SEG Congress unveils updated scientific pointers together with breakthroughs in technology. This will secure new standards for investigations, imaging and treatment procedures. All of them involved with fundamental significance for sustaining body functions and of vital importance for the promotion of reproductive and gender specific health care.
The congress topics have been chosen with heed and based on analyses of the participant’s expectations from the previous meetings. Under the heading “Welfare and female health care; challenge, innovation and success” the Congress will represent a scientific and clinical leap forward, confronting experimental medicine with best practice and composed to meet the fundamental aims of the Society. The educational and scientific purposes will be supported by contemporary congress facilities integrated in the Tivoli Gardens and by accompanying social events arranged at the new water front located right in the heart of wonderful Copenhagen.
