The 24th ECNP Congress will take place at the Palais des Congrès de Paris between the 3rd and the 7th of September 2011.
TheEuropean College of Neuropsychopharmacology (ECNP)is an independent scientific association founded in 1987 by European scientists and clinicians working in neuropsychopharmacology and related disciplines to encourage innovative research across the neurosciences and to translate new knowledge on fundamental disease mechanisms into clinical applications. It is today Europe's leading forum for the exchange and dissemination of interdisciplinary research on the brain and brain dysfunction.
The Congress of ECNP event this year will consist of four types of presentations: brainstormings, five parallel tracks, plenary lectures, poster sessions. The provisional topics of the scientific programme will be: addiction, affective disorders and antidepressants, anxiety disorders and anxiolytics, basic and clinical neuroscience, child and adolescence disorders, dementia and and neurological disorders, psychotic disorders and antipsychotics and other.

* Individuals who meet the criteria for the reduced fee (given below) will receive free registration, provided they will present a poster of which the paper has been approved for publication in the supplement to the journal European Neuropsychopharmacology.
** A reduced fee will be considered for:
persons studying for a pre-doctoral or doctoral degree
post-docs employed at universities and scientific institutions within the first 4 years of receiving their PhD
residents within the first 4 years of receiving their MD
Participants applying for a reduced fee (except participants from countries with developing economies) should provide a copy of their student card or an official letter from the head of their department, university or institution.
