EANS Groningen 2010 offers neurosurgeons an exceptional opportunity to review scientific and technical breakthroughs in the field. The meeting offers attendees new perspectives of neurosurgery. It also aims to further the goals of the European Association of Neurosurgical Societies to promote enhanced scientific knowledge and the exchange of information between those in different cultures and training systems throughout Europe.

The scientific programme will dedicate it’s first day to considering today's neurosurgical best practice from the perspectives of quality, evidence and education.Afterwards it will open the window to new challenges, unfamiliar perspectives and cutting edge developments in neuroscience, that will challenge and possibly change many of the established views.The sessions will debate also the classical and traditional lines: neurooncology, vascular neurosurgery, neuromodulation and spine.
