This conference builds on the tremendous success of the two previous congresses held in Barcelona (2006) and Nice (2008). The EAPS is a partnership between theEuropeanAcademyof Paediatrics, the European Society for Paediatric and Neonatal Intensive Care and the European Society for Paediatric Research. In addition, colleagues from several other European Paediatric Specialty Societies join us in presenting this exciting and comprehensive programme.
Uniquely, the EAPS Congress combines interest for paediatricians from primary care, general paediatric practice and specialty practice with a programme for intensive care and general paediatric nursing.
State of the art plenary lectures are combined with specialty tracks featuring invited international speakers and free oral presentations, alongside poster presentations. Featured subjects will include relevant topics in the areas of general paediatrics, intensive care medicine, brain and development, gastroenterology and nutrition, circulation and epidemiology and are listed overleaf.
Copenhagenis an elegant and lively city with a rich cultural heritage and world class meeting facilities; it will provide memorable backdrop for this our third joint Congress.
