16th European Congress on Obesity - ECO 2008

The European Association for the Study of Obesity (EASO) and the Swiss Association for the Study of Obesity and Metabolism (ASEMO) welcomes you to the 16th European Congress on Obesity (ECO) in Geneva, Switzerland from May 14th to 17th, 2008.

The congress will contain high quality lectures and symposia as well as highly varied oral presentations related to research in Obesity, as well basic sciences and clinical, patient-oriented research. The field of Education and Communication will also constitute an important part in the congress. By coming to ECO 2008, you'll enjoy not only wonderful scientific and social programmes but also all the numerous attractions that Geneva has to offer, not least the famous “Jet d’Eau de Genève” which is the highest water fountain in Europe.

Geneva, ‘the smallest of the big capitals’, is a beautiful city in the heart of Europe between Lake Geneva and spectacular mountains such as Mt Blanc. Admire the beautiful mountain landscape while you walk along the lakeshore (if possible not too briskly so that you can enjoy the breathtaking views!) or visit one of the many other places of interest in the Lake Geneva region or in nearby France.
