14th Congress of the European Society of Surgical Oncology (ESSO 2008)

Surgery Medical Congress Location: The Hague, Netherlands Date: 10 - 13 September 2008

The meeting is being held with the Dutch Society of Surgical Oncology and with a major participation from the British Association of Surgical Oncology.

The programme will include three keynote addresses, important generic topics such as follow-up, the volume/outcome debate, dealing with a complete response, as well as important organ related topics, for example breast, colorectal, gastric, melanoma, sarcoma etc. A joint session with the American Society of Surgical Oncology (SSO) will also contribute to this exciting programme.

The meeting will ensure a convivial social atmosphere. The ESSO committee is determined to ensure that surgical oncology is recognised as the important specialty it is. We hope to encourage organ based societies to join in our meetings and contribute to the improvement of cancer care for all our patients throughout Europe.
